DigiGeoData announce the release of the newly printed the Golden Triangle Exploration Activity Map.
These mining and metals resource exploration activity maps have been an industry standard for over 20 years. Hundreds of thousands of copies have been published.
They provide an overview either on a global/country scale or a more focussed regional basis that has significant exploration and/or mining activity. The maps are used by investors and companies.
The usual data of topography, mines, deposits, and claims are shown but the core value is the colour coding showing properties that companies have an economic interest in. These interests are quite often different from what a government data base would show due to option and joint venture agreements with registered owners.
These maps have traditionally been produced in hard copy which provides the user with a hands-on and tactile experience. Once published, they become an excellent reference.
However, DigiGeoMaps has this trusted concept to a digital interface.
In addition to the valuable data on the hard copy maps, additional benefits include
- 1. Reserves and resources
- 2. Mine production
- 3. Technical reports for viewing or downloading
- 4. Individual company profile pages with links to their websites
- 5. Area history
- 6. Regional geology
- 7. Access to DigiGeoAtlas
This powerful online GIS interactive mapping interface spatially links and displays data from DigiGeoMaps and DigiGeoData.
Data can be turned of or on from layers at different zooms levels.
Functionality includes zoom, pan, query, search, markup, printing and exporting in shape and CSV formats.
One of the highlights of Atlas is the ability to interrogate Canadian claim data seamlessly across Canada. Claims (leases and permits) from all Canadian provinces and territories are compiled with common fields.
A significant value add are the two layers that show both recently staked claims and claims that will be expiring in the next 30, 60 and 90 days. This is extremely valuable for monitoring activity within areas of interest.
With continuous innovation and development, DGDs business concept is to optimize technology that can support decision making, effectively enhance the quality of data and provide innovative solutions from market demands.
