Belmont Resources Inc. & International Montoro Resources Inc.,(the ‘Companies ‘) have a 50/50% ownership in 12,091 hectares in the Crackingstone & Orbit Lakes properties in the Uranium City district, northwest Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan. The claims are in good standing up to 2021 and some through to 2032.
The properties contain extended zones of former uranium producing mines. From 2006 to 2011 the Companies completed $1.97 million in acquisition and exploration expenditures. Exploration included Mag/VLF-EM ground geophysics; airborne magnetic, radiometric, and electromagnetic surveys; radon gas surveys; through to the completion of a 20-hole diamond drill program totalling 3,075 meters, and confirmed the presence of uranium mineralization for a strike distance of 1800 meters. Eight of the holes tested a 600 meter strike length conductor starting from the Beck 94 showing. Assays graded up to 0.37% U3O8 (7.4 lbs./ton), including intersections of 0.3m assaying 2.087% U3O8 (41.74 lbs./ton), including a 3.0m intersection assaying 0.36% U3O8 (7.19 lbs./ton); 10.6m intersection including 0.4m assaying 0.182% (3.64 lbs./ton) and many others.
The Companies are open for discussion for joint venture/options to continue exploration and development.
