Bonterra Resources Inc. is a Canadian gold exploration company based in Val-d’Or, Quebec. The Company is currently focused on exploring and evaluating it 38,000 hectare property in the Urban-Barry Greenstone Belt, northeast of Val-d’Or. In addition to the large land position containing early stage discovery potential, the property contains measured and indicated resources totaling 698,000 ounces Au and inferred resources of 1,405,000 ounces Au (table of resources below). Other assets include the 800 tonnes per day Bachelor Mill; the only mill in the Urban Barry district. Bonterra is aggressively exploring it large land position to expand resources and is working towards a PEA to support a multi-year mine plan.
- Mineral resources are reported at a cut-off grade of 3.5 g/t Au for Gladiator and Barry, and 3.0 for Moroy. Cut-off grades are based on a gold price of US$1,300 per ounce, a foreign exchange rate of US$0.75, gold recoveries of 93% – 95%, and reasonable mining, processing and transportation costs.
