About Madoro Metals Corp
Madoro Metals Corp. is a Mexico-focused precious metals company actively engaged in exploration and development of three gold-silver projects in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. The Yautepec, Magdalena, and Rama de Oro projects each consist of large epithermal systems that are highly prospective for precious metals in structural and geologic settings similar to those of nearby producing mines. Systematic exploration has advanced two of the projects towards drilling with the intention of discovering an economic mineral deposit.
Magdalena
Comprises a single 480-hectare property centered on highly altered volcanic rocks 20km southeast of Gold Resource Corp’s active Arista-Switchback AU-Ag mines and within the same regional structural trend.
Overview

- Preliminary exploration has identified a 1.7 km long East-West zone of strong quartz veining, rhyolite diking, and associated clay, gypsum, and oxidized sulfide alteration.
- Mapping and rock chip sampling reveal a 300 by 285 meter principal mineralized zone defined by 58 samples with greater than 0.20 g/t Au, including two above 3.0 g/t Au and 12 above 1.00 g/t Au.
- Multiple outlying target areas have been identified and require follow-up evaluation and are easily accessed and drill-ready using man-portable rigs.
- No history of systematic exploration or drilling in the area.
Yautepec
Comprises over 12,000 hectares of high-otential epithermal yargets 22 km’s southeast of Gold Resource Corp’s active Arista-Switchback mines and 8km to the orthwest of Gunpoint Exploration’s La Gitana project.
Overview
- Comprises over 12,000 hectares of high-potential epithermal targets 22 km’s southeast of Gold Resource Corporation’s currently producing Arista-Switchback mines and 8km to the northwest of Gunpoint Exploration’s La Gitana project.
- Epithermal veining and alteration are focused along a 17 km northwest-striking caldera structural margin that matches the orientation of the high-grade polymetallic Au-Ag veins at Gold Resource Corp’s Arista-Switchback mines.
- Important geologic indicators include the presence of multiple mineralized veins, paleo-hot-spring (sinter) deposits, iron-rich travertines, rhyolite domes, and hydrothermal breccias, all of which are locally anomalous to well-mineralized with Au-Ag and base metals.
- A newly discovered multiple-kilometer high-potential epithermal center was recently identified in the southern portion of the project.
- Flanking the caldera-margin structures to the east and southwest are Ag and base metal-rich skarns, the full extents of which are not yet known.
- Outside the areas of active mining the region has seen little systematic exploration, and the Yautepec project is the most highly prospective segment of the regional structural trend.
Rama de Oro
Comprises a 1,940 hectares at the Northwestern terminus of the Oaxaca Au-Ag poly metallic volanic belt.
Overview
- The Rama de Oro project comprises 1940 hectares at the northwestern terminus of the Oaxaca Au-Ag polymetallic volcanic belt.
- A high exploration potential 4 x 2.5 km quartz vein stockwork zone is centered on a northwest-trending structural zone along the eastern margin of the largest known caldera in the Oaxaca volcanic belt.
- The core of stockwork veining includes a 3.5 km long vegetative ‘kill’ zone caused by metals anomalies related to potential mineralization at depth.
- Preliminary rock chip sampling has yielded metal values of up to 80.3 g/t Ag and and 0.56 g/t Au, with reported higher (unconfirmed) values up to ~1 g/t Au from historical sampling.
- Polymetallic (Au-Ag-Cu-Mo-Pb-Zn) skarn-porphyry style mineralization lies nearby to the southeast along the same regional structural trend at La Calvera (8km distant) and at a 43-101 compliant resource at Cobre Grande (12km km’s distant).
- The project is accessed by two-lane paved highway from Oaxaca, followed by improved dirt roads from Santiago Matatlán with numerous farm roads providing access to majority of the project area.
- Oaxaca City, Santiago Matatlán, and San Pablo Villa de Mitla are local sources of skilled workers, water, and power for the project.
