With the announcement made by Copper Reef, their Base Metal Drilling is about to begin north of Sourdough Bay in the main Flin Flon camp of northern Manitoba. Initially, the plans are to drill two to three targets of seven Airbourne VTEM targets that occur just north of the former Pine Bay, Baker Patton and North Star Mines.

The three being drilled occur as a cluster of four, possibly representing mineralization, covering a combined strike length of 300 meters. Individual targets vary from 80 to 150 meters in strike length.

There is easy access to the property via the North Star Mine Road from the old highway 10, south of Flin Flon. There is an existing main drill road, leading to the target areas where old subsidiary drill roads provide access to drill set ups.

All work permits have been issued and are in place to start work.  Snow removal along access roads and drill site preparation has begun. Ross Industries Ltd, will be providing access the sites and will be ensuring the safety of these activities, in accordance to environmental laws and conditions of the work permit.

Copper Reef is the only company carrying out exploration drilling in the Main Camp in the Flin Flon, where the company has a large property package and many remaining high quality VMS and gold targets and deposits.
