Searchlight Resources holds a 427.6 square kilometre land position within the gold and base metal rich Flin Flon – Snow Lake Greenstone Belt. Bootleg Lake Gold Project, Saskatchewan
The Bootleg Lake gold project hosts high-grade gold and base-metal volcanogenic massive sulfide (VMS) targets. Searchlight Resources holds a 51-percent interest in the 54.3 square kilometer property. Historic resource estimates are available for three past-producing gold mines; Bootleg/Rio, Henning-Maloney and Newcor gold mines. The Rio Mine has a modern decline tunnel 1.5 kilometers in length, complete with underground stope development which is potentially useful for underground exploration and/or production following a dewatering and rehabilitation program. There are also a number of additional gold and copper occurrences on the property. Excellent exploration infrastructure is in place, offering the potential for lower cost exploration and development at Bootleg Lake.
Additional Saskatchewan Exploration Projects
In addition to the Bootleg Lake Gold Project, Searchlight has carried out detailed data driven exploration in Saskatchewan, following up with staking and optioning high quality projects at low cost. Table 1 lists Searchlight Resources’ current holdings in Saskatchewan.
