Triumph Gold Corp. is a precious and base metal exploration company with significant projects in Yukon and British Columbia. The company is currently focused on advancing its 100% owned, road accessible Freegold Mountain property in Yukon Territory.
The two-hundred square kilometre Freegold Mountain Property is located in the prolific Dawson Range, along the longest road-accessible portion of Big Creek fault, which controls mineralization along its full length across southern Yukon and into Alaska. The property is host to three mineral deposits: the Nucleus epithermal gold deposit, the Revenue porphyry copper-gold-molybdenum deposit, and the Tinta Hill gold-silver-copper- lead- zinc vein deposit. The property also has a wealth of additional showings that have been advanced to various stages with geochemical, geophysical, and geological mapping programs as well as trenching and drilling. Highlights of recent exploration on the property include discovery of Yukon’s richest porphyry – encompassing the world-class Blue Sky Zone and WAu Breccia.
In 2016, following a review of historical drilling on the Freegold Mountain property, a new porphyry target was identified that incorporated the six kilometre long Revenue-Nucleus soil anomaly. New targets within the soil anomaly were drill tested in 2017 and 2018 resulting in discovery of the high-grade, gold-rich WAu Breccia and Blue Sky Porphyry Breccia. These breccia zones have yielded Yukon’s longest high grade porphyry related drill intercepts. Other discoveries during this time include the Keirsten Zone, Happy Creek Gold Zone, Maximus II, and the Drone Zone, where grades up to 450 grams per ton gold have been documented.
Exploration during the 2019 field season has had continued success generating additional long and high grade drill intersections at both the WAu Breccia and Blue Sky Porphyry Breccia.
