About Damara Gold Corp.
The Main Zone was discovered by logging road prospecting by the previous owners and diamond drilled for the first time by Damara Gold in 2020. PG-20-001 intersected 1.00m of 48.60 g/t Au and 30.8g/t Ag…PG-20-005 intersected 4.0m of 7.07 g/t Au and 101 g/t Ag. The 2021 drill program successfully extended gold mineralization to the west with drill hole MV-21-06 intersecting 1.4m of 34.12g/t Au and 87.74 g/t Ag. Recconnaissance property wide soil sampling in 2021, identified a 600m wide by 1,500 m long gold in soil annomaly, about 2 km north of Main Zone , with the highest soil sample reporting 18 g/t Au! This new zone , called Kodiak Zone , is characterized by quartz sulphide veining hosted within a clay-sericite altered intrusive unit. Diamond drilling encountered quartz veining in all 8 holes with KZ-21-05 reporting 3.0 m of 39.2 g/t Au and 80 g/t Ag. Only about 1/3 of the 600m wide annomaly has been tested and the zone remains open in all directions . The Kodiak Zone will be the main focus of exploration in 2023 with 20-30 drill holes planned for the season.
