About Doyon, Limited
Doyon, Limited (Doyon) is the regional Alaska Native Corporation for the Interior region of Alaska and the largest private landowner in the state. Doyon was established under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1971. Doyon fully manages the rights to its lands.
Doyon owns approximately 12.5 million acres of land with much of it being selected for economic potential primarily mineral opportunities due to the location of the region in the Tintina Gold Belt. Doyon owns and operates companies in many industries including utilities and tourism.
Properties include the east Wiseman area, located adjacent to the Dalton Highway in the Brooks Range which has identified over fifteen significant occurrences of precious metal-bearing polymetallic mineralization in the Chandalar Copper Belt. Other properties include Flat, LWM, Vinasale, Northway, Seventymile, and Sawtooth all in Interior Alaska.
Doyon’s corporate strategy is to continue to pursue mutually beneficial quality exploration projects with exploration companies.
