About Newrange
Newrange Gold Corp. (TSX-V: NRG) is focused on district-scale gold exploration in the prolific and safe jurisdictions of Nevada and Red Lake, Ontario. The Company’s Pamlico Project, in the legendary Walker Lane Trend of Nevada, is unique in that it encompasses a historic gold mining district yet is nearly unexplored, having been held in private hands for more than 120 years. The property boasts excellent infrastructure and exceptional metallurgy, with multi-million ounce potential. An Induced Polarization (IP) geophysical survey in conjunction with mapping and sampling have generated several large gold and copper targets within a 30 square kilometre area. A new geological model has been developed and drilling will test these exciting targets in 2022.
The North Birch Project in the Red Lake District of Ontario contains a structural environment analogous to the 8 million ounce Musselwhite Mine owned by Newmont-Goldcorp. The main target horizon, an 8 kilometre long sheared limb of a folded iron formation, has recently been covered by an IP survey. The recently acquired Argosy Gold Mine is immediately adjacent to North Birch and contains the region’s most significant past-producing gold mine. Having closed in 1952 after only being mined to a depth of 300 metres, there is significant depth potential. Both projects will see diamond drilling of the best targets in winter 2022.
