Led by a team of successful company builders and mine finders, Newrange Gold Corp. (TSX-V: NRG) is focused on district-scale gold exploration in the prolific and safe jurisdictions of Nevada and Red Lake, Ontario. The Company’s flagship Pamlico Project, in the legendary Walker Lane Trend of Nevada, is unique in that it encompasses a historic gold mining district yet is nearly unexplored, having been held in private hands for more than 120 years. The property boasts excellent infrastructure and exceptional metallurgy, with multi-million ounce potential. An Induced Polarization (IP) geophysical survey has generated several large targets within a 30 square kilometre area. A new geological model has been developed and Reverse Circulation and Diamond Drilling in 2021 will test these exciting targets.
The recently acquired North Birch Project in the Red Lake District of Ontario contains a geological environment analogous to the 8 million ounce Musselwhite Mine owned by Newmont-Goldcorp. The main target horizon, an 8 kilometre long sheared limb of a folded iron formation has recently been covered by an IP survey. The project will see field work in spring-summer 2021 including diamond drilling of the best targets.
