Led by a team of successful company builders and mine finders, Newrange Gold Corp. (TSX-V: NRG) is focused on the exploration & development of the high-grade Pamlico gold project in Nevada. The property boasts excellent infrastructure and exceptional metallurgy, with multi-million ounce potential in the legendary Walker Lane Trend.
The project is unique in that it hosts a past-producing district and yet is nearly unexplored, having been in private hands since 1896. Approximately 300 historic mine workings and 8,000 metres of tunnels covering an area of 1,500 by 1,000 metres provide tremendous access to a wealth of information. An Induced Polarization geophysical survey has generated a new geological model and several specific targets that are being drill tested in 2020 as part of a 10,000 metre program.
The recently acquired North Birch Project in the Red Lake District of Ontario contains a geological environment analogous to the 8 million ounce Musselwhite Mine owned by Newmont-Goldcorp. Conditional upon COVID-19 restrictions, the project should see field work in late summer 2020 followed by drilling in early 2021.
